YouTube roles explained: Primary owner, Owner, Manager

The primary owner can do everything except remove himself as primary owner.

Owners can do everything, including make themselves the primary owner.

Managers:

• Cannot invite new people
• Cannot accept YouTube network partnership invitations
• Cannot delete the channel

Managers can do everything else, like upload videos, edit videos and delete videos.
